Payment terms
- Residential customers pay at completion of service. No deposit on standard service calls under $400.
- Jobs over $400 may require a 25% parts deposit, refundable if you cancel before the technician is dispatched.
- Business and recurring clients can be invoiced on Net-15 or Net-30 terms after a credit check.
- Receipts are emailed within 24 hours. We do not store full card numbers on our systems — payments are processed via Stripe and Square, both PCI-DSS compliant.
Service guarantee
If the issue we repaired returns within 90 days and is due to the same root cause, we come back at no labor charge. See our Policy page for the full warranty terms.
Refunds
If you're not satisfied with the diagnosis, we waive the diagnostic fee. If we cannot complete a repair and no parts have been installed, the visit is free. Parts already installed are non-refundable but covered by the manufacturer's warranty plus our 90-day labor warranty.
Taxes
Texas state and local sales tax (8.25% in Dallas) is applied to parts and applicable labor as required by Texas law. Tax-exempt customers should email their exemption certificate to billing@geekforhome.online before service.
